By partnering with SASIT - a powerhouse in Cloud computing and outsourcing - we can provide you with a personalised, low risk, cost effective outsourcing or managed service that is backed by our local team of technical experts.
  • Complete outsourcing of your IT infrastructure including hardware, software, network, plus applications development and helpdesk.

  • Facilities management of hardware. Team Computing looks after the well-being of your computing environment including monitoring and upgrades. This can be on your premises, ours, or wherever your infrastructure currently resides.

  • Hosting and development of applications. We host applications on our machines on behalf of the customer and develop and maintain the application systems.

  • Hosting of applications. We host your applications on Team's equipment. The application's development may be performed by yourself, Team Computing experts or a third party (e.g. this is typical of some ERP type software solutions).

  • Applications development on facilities managed machines - where the customer owns the machine but Team Computing manages it and also provides application development services.

  • Provision of technical expertise. You own the network and hardware infrastructure but Team Computing provides the staff and expertise to manage the systems and /or software.

  • Provision of security services including firewalls, mail and web security.
We also provide web development and hosting, specialising in the integration of front end web applications with back office systems.

Team Computing and SASIT have invested significant time, money and effort in developing tools and techniques that ensure the well-being of mission critical systems.

As a logical and physcial extension of our outsourcing delviery model, where we host and manage customers systems at data centres in Sydney and Melbourne, we are able to use the same tools and approach to manage systems and assets located on customer sites.

Team Computing has been involved with many different applications and continues to provide a robust and safe environment for mission critical systems. Our reasoning is that to have a place in the IT industry, the solution has to be industrial strength.
 
DISASTER RECOVERY & HIGH AVAILABILITY AS A SERVICE:
 
DISASTER RECOVERY AS A SERVICE:
- for businesses who can afford downtime of a few days, but not data loss.

Team loads a software utility onto the customer's system. All transactions are replicated to a Team owned system housed at our Data Centre. In the event of a system outage an alternate system can be sourced, backups loaded, and the latest transactional data applied to bring the systems up to date with no or minimal data loss.

Team and SASIT become an extension to the customers computing capability, enhancing the depth and experience that can be mobilised should the need arise. Although transactions are saved to a point close to the failure, there is still significant work required to bring the business back to normal operations.

HIGH AVAILABILITY AS A SERVICE:
- provides real-time replication of data and transactions from the customer's production machine to a 'live' backup machine. If the production machine goes down, the backup system 'takes over'the production workload without extensive downtime or data loss.

Team can provide a High Availability solution as a monthly service using Team hardware and software housed within our data centre on a shared basis. This means:

  • There is no capital outlay on a 2nd machine and hence no hardware or software maintenance costs.

  • Flexible configuration.

  • Pay only for what is used.

  • Responsibility for outcomes rest with Team and SASIT.

  • Hardware upgrades can be performed with little or no downtime.

  • Software upgrades can be installed and tested without impacting the production environment.

  • Offsite backups can be completed without impacting the production system.

  • The customer can do virtual role swaps (testing that the backup machine takes over), without impact to the 'live' production environment.

  • Management of the backup system will be handled by Team's highly experienced IBM i, and HA/DR technical staff.

  • Your business can grow and additional capacity can be provided as needed.
